A Review of Branch Activities in 2014
This is an amended and updated version of the secretary's report given to the 2014 AGM
It had been decided that 2014 would be a relatively fallow year concentrating solely on our training program. This proved very disappointing as a lack of bookings led to just one taster day being run. We did however once again run a weekend course for the Snowdonia Society at Pensychnant with 8 attendees. (Following this it was decided to slightly expand the 2015 and split the timing of the weekend courses, with apparent success as courses are currently booking well).
The Cheshire Branch visited Blaen y Nant again. 5 hardy souls turned up, inclement weather meant we were unable to continue repairing the milking pen, instead a gap in the competition wall was repaired. It is planned to complete the pen this year (it was see here).
No Stonechats were produced although editiions 1-5 have been scanned 'pdfs' and are available in response to specific requests as images rather than recognisable text.
There was only one talk in addition to was the Stonechat presentation in Santa Fe, October 2013 mentioned in last years report... to the South Wales Branch in July.
